Help is at hand at The Weir Nursing Home,
which offers respite, short and long term care.

We are staffed with specially qualified and experienced nurses who give exceptional care and are sympathetic
to the needs of people with this condition.

We liaise with the consultants at the local Hospital who have a special interest in Parkinson’s Disease, and the community Parkinson’s Disease Nurse Specialist.

There are regular outings to the
Parkinson’s Disease Society Branch.

The Matron has undergone specialist training
and has an ENB qualification in
“Meeting the needs of people with
Parkinson’s Disease and their carers”
